David Dunn is the Founder and CEO of Release Mates, regularly appearing on television and radio discussing the criminal justice system. Since beginning Release Mates, David has hosted awards ceremonies and delivered talks to senior professionals in the justice sector, including the judiciary. Combining dry humour with serious contemporary matters, David frequently discusses his journey from a cell at HMP Preston to CEO of a registered charity - highlighting the difficulties on the journey and how he overcame them. 

Abby Harland's journey is quite remarkable. In December 2023, Abby was homeless and hopelessly addicted to Class A drugs. After rehab, Abby began volunteering with Release Mates and was soon appointed manager of the team. Listening to Abby's story brings home the harsh reality of addiction and prison, and the endless possibilities recovery brings. Abby has delivered talks to criminal justice and NHS leaders, and is a firm favourite sharing her story on prison wings to groups of prisoners. 

Graham Frost boasts a rich history in public speaking and delivers professional public speaking courses in prisons. Graham's knowledge spans over 50 years beginning with his days in borstal, and offers an insightful look at the true meanings of altruism, being of service, and the joy in helping others succeed.
